TALE curriculum is designed for K-8 students learning English as a second language. It is rooted in addressing language learning through a skill-centered approach. Grammar and vocabulary are major components in order to be proficient in any language. At TALE, we use these two as the building blocks throughout our products to lay a strong foundation in order to gain truly functional skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing.

TALE’s curriculum is mapped to international standards of ESL learning like the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), ensuring that students are in par with global standards with their English skills. The curriculum can, thus, be used either in tandem with or independent of the existing school curriculum.

Every child is different and in order to find the uniqueness of each one, TALE’s diagnostics builds a specific profile for each student based on their individual capacities. Proven theories like Bloom’s taxonomy, behavioural sciences and 21st century learning skills are applied to differentiate learners. Based on these evaluations, our engine strategizes the ideal course plan for each student.

Verbal skills like speaking and writing are evaluated by a TALE Mentor, who provides students with effective feedback based on clearly derived rubrics. Performances of students are continuously consolidated as reports which are available to teachers and parents for their monitoring purposes.

TALE ensures that the human element is integrated in learning.Through regular teacher training sessions and workshops, teachers are coached on how to facilitate real-time classroom scenarios and learning sessions. Relevant pedagogy on overcoming hurdles and learning obstacles are discussed extensively and remedial measures are provided. Teachers are equipped with best-practice methods for productive classroom handling.

TALE coordinators are responsible for the effective implementation of the program in schools. They undertake periodic school visits and provide prompt assistance for the teachers. They help the teachers in understanding and evaluating a child’s progress. The coordinators are in constant touch with the teachers and together, they help in developing better pedagogies that are structured into the program.

TALE Service provides a comprehensive support system to help schools provide an ambient learning environment for the children. From technical to learning support, assistance is provided to ensure that the school is well equipped to effectively run the program.
